All right so... many things happened for sure and still no pictures 'cause I'm still not used to take it with me (damn it!). Guess I'll rely on others' technology to form that "collective memory" concept I love so dearly. 

But mainly what happened aside from work could be related to creating identity, memories and bonds with the team. We had chocolate //fondue// one night and spent the night talking and laughing nonsense, we watched each other's back while ingurging tons of caipirinha and then we worked together on how our strategic direction for the year.

Oh, and they like fluffy cheesy tvshows / movies ¬_¬... God, i gotta find a librairy and quick.

Summing up since arrival. 

Lots of goodbyes in Montreal. It was happy, sad, envigorating, emotional... I realized how much Montreal was part of me now. Probably not Montreal itself, but the people I met and lived with in this city : Montreal never adopted me as one of her. My friends however, shared a part of their life, their love and their culture. They're a part of me, as I am a part of them too. And this makes me a Montrealer.

My flight to Sao Paulo got delayed by one hour in Toronto. Usually, I don't care but this time... I wished it was delayed much much longer. I've never thought of it before, but I realized that I didn't care that much. And the reason behind it might be because I used to be in that kind of situation since I was little. How many times in Tahiti have we had those family gatherings with everyone speaking Hakka and me not understanding a single word of what they were saying ? I'll tell you : enough to teach me how to get busy when there's nothing to play around with, letting my mind wander, dreaming fantasies, premice to a schizoïd personnality.

This thing is AWESOME, better than all the smoothies and sherbets I've ever tasted ! It's still ~4.20$CA for a big bowl but definitly worth it. Considering its nutritious properties and refreshing taste, I'll be coming back for more during hot days.

No, it's not a particularity in Brazil, and they're certainly not something you absolutly have to try if you intend to go to Brazil one day unless you're on very low budget and in that case, they prolly could save your life. However, the only reason they're featured in this blog is because here in the office, we happen to have TONS of those things from past conferences (love the in-kind donations !). So it became a habit to have one of those crackers during breaktime. One more... and I bite someone.

''Guarana''
Brazil's national soft drink ! Sweet, gazified, refreshing... it's like a Coke or a Pepsi with a slightly bit of Guarana, the plant used for energy drinks although it doesn't contain as much cafeine (guarana is said to be 8x stronger than cafeine).

"Caipirinha"
Made of Cachaça (alcohol made of sugar cane), limes and enough sugar to make you want an extra shot of insuline. Love it :)

- Greetings: you kiss the right cheek, followed by a hug. In other cities, you can kiss the 2 cheeks. 

- You DO NOT put the toilet paper in the bowl !!! Otherwise, it gets clogged :P, so you have to use the bin. I'll let your imagination wander from here...

- Water is non drinkable. Ok. But the water has a very distinctive smell I can hardly bear: mold. So brushing your teeth or taking a shower feels almost like taking a good bite in a rotten tomatoe. One explanation could be that the waterpipes are very old. Time, erosion and micro-organisms might have done their job, contaminating the entire water system. I haven't felt sick yet (even after cooking pasta) but I'll stay away from salad for now and will look for Listerine... or Vodka.

Welcome to my blog ! You might be wondering what the hell kind of blog is that and how do you use it to navigate through my adventures in Brazil. 

Well, for a first, I wanted something out of the ordinary. I mean, nomadlife, blogspot or wordpress are good but I wanted to give something different than a chronological perspective of my journey. 
Second, I needed a collaborative tool for work and I happen to find that one. Considering the multiple ways to use it, plus the learning curve it takes, I thought a blog might be a good try. And for all I know, I'm pretty happy about it ;) !
